Hmmm, not sure what you are asking. If you mean can you pull out the 
logic board from a 5400 and stick in one from a 5500/250, then there 
should be no problem. The 5500 has a better video system "on board" (ATI 
Rage IIc), but the rest of the "case" and ports are the same.
