Seems to me that it would be best if everyone on this list would stick to conveying their own experiences with their particular hardware/software combinations and leave the generalizations to be applied to someone else's situation out of it. All opinions, guesses, hunches, presuppositions, crazy lunatical postulations, etc. should be stated as such. Especially if someone with oranges is generalizing about some other lister's, uh... "apples." (And it would really be helpful if everyone would remember to include their basic system info. in their posts so that everyone else can clearly see any basic differences. Beyond that we can't really know things like software conflict differences or who has screwed up hard drive info. compared to another's). Obviously there are some basic known facts about particular computers/software or PCI macs in general that can be applied across the board here. There are also members of this list with vast of technical knowledge and experience working on macs whose advice and opinion is welcomed. The line between fact and opinion should still be delineated. The "browser wars" thing on this list is kinda like eating bad Mexican food. You know somewhere some time, it's going to come up again.
