Hello,

I've recently replaced the original logic board on a 5260/120 with a
6400/200 one.

I'm very happy with the idea. I'm keeping my all-in-one system, including
video/audio-in, TV card, modem,... and, since I've got also a 256k L2 cache
card, it's speed has boosted considerably, and allows to place a G3 upgrade.

However, I cannot use the PCI slots because there's an obvious "problem of
space". The logic board fits below the monitor, leaving a space of about 3
inches for all the cards. In fact, that's enough for the modem, cache card,
DIMMs, and rest of the stuff, but the PCI adapter (converting one vertical
PCI slot into two horizontal slots) doesn't fit in the space between the LB
and the 52xx's monitor.

I've got an AVID card that I cannot use because of this reason.

I guess a smaller adapter would do it, but, does it exist?

Another option would be fitting the LB a bit lower. That seems more
difficult, though.

Does anyone there know how to solve this problem?

Thank you in advance,

Javier
