HELP!!! My 8500, still my main and only computer, died! My apartment only
has 2 prong outlets. I have used my 8500 with a 2 to 3 prong adapter
without attaching the wire for 8 months. Last night I moved it to a
different outlet. When I hit the power key I heard a pop and then nothing.
I moved it back to the old outlet, reseated the processor, but nothing
happens. No chime, no fan, no light, no noise. Is there a fuse somewhere?
I tried to get access to the power supply but was unable to remove it's
cover. I'm desperate!!!
