Go to your local computer store and buy the biggest, IDE/ATA drive you can
afford, mount it and plug it into your tempo card, re-boot and use the apple
disk utility to format/partition the drive.

I have an 8600/G4-700/trio/512MB/ 120(I think)GB-HD/OSX.2 and the IDE/ATA
drive is the only drive I have running on the machine. Unless you want to
have a drive you can take places, the IDE/ATA setup should be cheaper
