No way to tell really other than from direct experience.  Any program 
which requires special video hardware should be checking for it and 
telling you if you don't have it.  But...

Look on the game's web site for hardware requirements is your best 
starting point.

Oh and try upping the RAM allocation for those games by say 50%. 
Sometimes programs allocate just enough RAM and then a later change 
in OS causes a slight increase in RAM required.  That can cause a 
bomb.
