You have a couple of options for storage space: 1) the 7300 uses SCSI drives - you can get an internal 50-pin SCSI hard drive which are fast BUT very expensive - larger 50-pin hard drives (anything above 9GB) are hard to come by and they tend to run very hot and need extra cooling. Check eBAy for deals on 50-pin SCSI drives. You can also get adapters that allow you to use 68-pin and 80-pin SCSI drives. You can also go for external SCSI drives but they would be slower due to the speed of the external SCSI port on the 7300.
2) get an ATA controller card. Sonnet, ACArd make these cards and all you need to do is plop them into one of your 3 PCI slots. They will allow you to use IDE hard drives which are far cheaper than SCSI drives especially when you get to the higher storage capacities (~ 80GB +). Get a card that is rated for ATA-100+ or ATA-133. These will allow you to use IDE hard drives that go beyond 100GB. <-- This is probably your best bet to increase your storage capacity. 3) far off options would be installing a firewire card and buying or making a firewire hard drive. <--not really an option but just a thought. > issue (and it's a big one) is I'm almost out of hard disk space.
