I'm running OS 9.1 on a 7500, Sonnet 800 Mhz processor, 512M RAM, ATI 7000 card. I
recently installed an 80G IDE drive. Since then, I've been getting mysterious
crashes. Running Norton's results in reports of "wrapper problems" and "crosslinked
files". Norton's can't fix these, so I can only reinstall my OS. Problems return.
This only affects the partition containing my system folder. Is this the fault of a
defective drive, or perhaps bad RAM? GaugePro reports nothing wrong with the RAM, but
it is a mixture of old and new, large and small, and I am suspicious.

Thanks everyone,
Steve T.
