There's a fellow on the Apple Discussion boards who's convinced that 
the Trio does not work with the Rev. C ROM.   He has a variety of 
Beige G3s and he says he tried the Trio in each of them with each of 
the ROMs and the motherboard revision didn't seem to matter but the 
ROM revision did.  So if his testing is accurate and complete, the 
Tempo Trio has an issue with the Rev. C ROM.   Does your Beige G3 
report $77D.45F2 in Apple System Profiler as the ROM Revision?
