Folks - I'm setting up a PowerMac 8600 for my daughter to use for dial-up access. The local surplus store has two of the Global Village modems for sale at cheap prices.
One is a Platinum, model A812 The other is a Gold, model PL510 Is either one of these a better choice? Can't seem to find specs anywhere on the web.
