Hi all, Many thanks to all that answered my problem. But unfortunately I think I found the problem. Many, many thanks to Hal for helping with that. He came across an article about the 5200 and how it does not support a modem more than 9600 baud. So my hopes of getting the 5200 online to browse at a decent are dashed. Guess it is back to the drawing board and a different mac. Would have never believed that a Power Mac would not be able to support a 56k modem, especially since the person I bought it from told me she had it online. Guess I should have asked more questions.........
