The 8500 mobo will fit directly, and you can then upgrade to full A-V, using 
the 8500's A-V connector.

The 8600 will work, too, but you must change the "B" power supply for the "G" 
power supply, which is really intended for the 7300 but will work with the 
8600. Same A-V comments as for the 8500.

The "B" power supply has a 22 pin connector and a 10 pin connector; the "G" 
power supply has a 24 pin connector and a 10 pin connector.

The two power supplies are nearly identical, except for the different cable 
pinouts.
