It'll take a pile of disk space, but try this: copy the cd to a cd image 
first, then burn a cd from it. That might solve the problem if it's due 
to timing issues.

Also, if you can set up a 700 mb partition for this purpose, all the 
better, you can refoprmat the partition before each burn.

What OS are you using? Why isn't Disk Burner supported? (if it's because 
it requires the Firewire driver, just install 'em. The drivers don't 
need firewire hardware...)
