> Has incompatibility with Virtual PC 5 been sorted?
I never even knew there was incompatibility? Ive got 8600/300 with g4 800 mhz and the upgrade process from VPC 3.0 went without a hitch. All i heard was VPC is slower in OS X than 9.1. I got VPC 5.0 working both in 9.1 and in os X, but you cant use the same disk image for both. Right now im waiting for a VPC 6.0 upgrade hoping it will run faster in os X I dont know about stats, but I am very pleased with the upgrade. Even though I know I sunk more money than most would into an old mac, (672 ram, g4 upgrade, PCI radeon 7000, 2 scsi HDs) I have a spiritual bond with Ole Faithful which I cannot break until she croaks. And I think she runs OS X great and I dont expect to get another computer for a long time. and they say Macs are not cost effective! (~$4000 over 6 yrs = $666/yr = $55/mo) and she still has a few years left in her. EBC __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
