I have a generic ATAPI DVD player and I was wondering a few things: 1) Could I add a PCI IDE card to the system without a problem? If so then what brand would be best or are they all generic?
2) Which drivers/extensions on 9.x do I need to use the DVD player? 3) Are the older PCI Creative Labs decoder cards supported anywhere under Mac OS 9.x? 4) Would adding a DVD player to a 6500 be easier because of the existing IDE channels?
