That may well be true, but you need and MUST HAVE the extension in the
folder so it will load.

This came about some time ago when there were problems starting up and
I was getting nowhere with Conflict Catcher, so I decided to do it
myself. 

I moved the Script Extension to the disabled folder and it never got
moved back, after the problem was finally found.

Now that the Script Extension is loading, your program works just fine,
the sound level is at 7 or max just as I wanted.

Their is no problem with changing the name or adding a period in front
of the name to make the item execute first in the Start up folder.

I have now seen several scripts and the script editor has a RECORD
feature that allows me to make-by-doing a script.
