I finally obtained a reasonably-priced USB/Firewire combo card, but... It's been a while since I've messed with USB or Firewire on a Mac, and I don't think I ever used generic cards, so, is there anything special I need to do to get them to work? *Will* they work?
I seem to remember something about the USB and Firewire support packages allowing just about any card to work, but I may be mistaken.
