Yeah, an upgraded PCI PowerMac running an OS more fit for its era is 
downright smokin'!  If you don't need all the bells and whistles of a 
modern machine, and just want to do browsing and word processing, this 
route can't be beat.

Although I use my iBook for all day-to-day use, and I hope to 
get/assemble a modern G4 PowerMac to complement the iBook, I still love 
my old PCI PowerMacs running OS 8.6.  They sure give me less trouble 
than the iBook! (with its battery problems, slow hard drive, etc etc).
