I am going to buy a firewire case and a 30GB IDE hard drive (7200rpm) and
create a firewire hard drive for my 7300. My question is will this drive be
fast enough to work with iMovie2? I've used an internal SCSI hd before
(18GB 80-pin drive w/ a 50-pin adapter) and I kept getting the error message
that my hard drive was too slow when it tried to download the footage and
then the drive burnt out on me =P. Anyone else try this with their machine?
Will a firewire hard drive actually work? Thanks in advance.
