I have a 9600 with OS 9.1. First there are no USB 2 drivers for OS
9.1, so you will be relegated to USB 1 speeds. I have a Nomad II
for the gym and it takes many minutes to d/l 60 MB of audio. I
'splurged' for an iPod, and really like it. I take my entire CD
collection with me, and it adds new CD's to the iPod faster than they
encode.
