OS 9 and 9.1 should install without a problem on a PPC mac, I know, I 
had 9.0 running on my Powerbook 5300, and 9.1 on my 7600. For 9.2 you'll 
need to consult <http://os9forever.com/> for info.

However if what you've got is a copy of the 9.1 *updater* you'll need a 
full copy of 9.0 to start with...
