This is easily our busiest list -- sometimes 100 postings in a single
day. It's so busy that some people leave because it's overwhelming.

Some reminders:

Mac OS X is not supported on the models covered on this list, although it
can be installed using XPostFacto. Because of this, those interested in
using OS X on these machines should join our Unsupported OS X mailing
list. OS X coverage really isn't appropriate on this list.

Discussion of pre-PCI Power Macs is explicitly banned in the list FAQ.
The proper forum for these machines (5200-5300, 6100-6320, 7100, 8100,
and 9150) is 1st PowerMacs.

Discussion of Macs designed around G3 or G4 processors is also explicitly
banned on this list. PCI PowerMacs is specifically for pre-G3 machines
(G3 and G4 upgrades are okay on PCI PowerMacs). For the beige, blue &
white, gray, quicksilver, and related models, please join G-List.

Following the above guidelines will help keep this list on topic and
slightly reduce the posting count.

Thanks for helping make this a great list.
