Before extensions begin to load. >What about booting with extensions off? Doesn't work. As I said, the HD spins up, the smiley mac comes up, the bus error message appears, and the HD spins down. No welcome to Mac OS, no extensions crawl, no nothing. Unfortunately, my brother lives 200 miles from me so I'm troubleshooting this problem long distance. :( I called him and told him to zap the PRAM. We shall see...
