I upgraded my 9600/200 with a Sonnet 400mHz G3 card, and I get all sorts of malfunctions. nothing has been able to cure them... nobody, including the professionals, has a clue.
Someone mentioned that cache can cause this problem with upgrades (my 7500 did the same thing, using the same G3 card). Problem is, I can't find any cache stick on my mobo... there's an empty slot between RAM slots 4 & 5, though... But my Ststem Profiler says it has 512k external L2 cache (having trouble with "not enough memory" messages, even though I have 1.5Gb RAM). Is this what I need to remove?
