Hi all! I just got a G3 Mid Tower 333 and when I connect a mac monitor to the
PCI display card, no display, monitor is dark. When I connect monitor to
built in vid, all is ok. The system shipped with a samsung VGA to mac
adaptor. I wonder if this setup had a vga monitor previously and has a pram
setting that prevents it from recognizing mac monitor connected to the other
connector on the PCI display card. Otherwise, I assume the PCI display card
is dead. BTW, the display card is the stock card that shipped with this
system IX... something or other with both types of connectors. Anyone have
any input on a way to get it to recognize the card? Or do you think it's
dead? Thanks so much for reading.
Tom
