Hi,

I've been trying to install OS 8.6 or OS 9.1 on my 7300/200 for about a week
now. It always ends up with the same result: Installation can't continue
because the file "Installation Tome" could not be read. It happens with
both versions.

I've tried different hard drives and different CD-ROM drives, but no luck.
I've also copied and burned new versions of the discs and tried those, no
go. (By the way, these discs install fine on my other macs). The one OS I
can install is OS 8.1, but even that gives me occasional problems when I try
to install.

Is there anything I'm forgetting to test or do so I can install these
without hassle?

Thanks, John
