Hi, >From time to time in my Trash folders named "Rescued items from Mac" or "Rescued items from Jaguar" appear. "Mac" and "Jaguar" are names of my two disks. There are some items in each folder, and I remove them, but I am starting to get anxious a bit... What exactly are those items? Parts of my valuable files from the hard disks? Why - "rescued"? They are apparently being created by the system, but I haven't found anything about them in the "Mac Help". Why are those folders and items being created, what do they contain, and are my programs and documents being somehow damaged? What's going on?
I use OS 9.1 (PM 8500 w/ XLR8 G3) and I did check both of my disks with Norton Disk Doctor lately. And with Disk First Aid too. -- Grzegorz Pawlik -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
