Isopropyl alcohol (isoproynol) is available in drugstores and
somteimes in dispensers at Apple Authorized Service dealers, who use
it to clean hardware,
.Rubbing alcohol is mostly isopropanol plus some oil (to replace the
natural oil that it removes from the skin), plus whatever else the
manufacurer wants to add to it, usually a scenting agent. Use the
pure chemical for cleaning your monitor, use rubbing alcohol for
cleaning your skin.
Citra-Solv brand liquid cleaner works well for monitors, skin and
most everything else. Use it very sparingly, about two drops to clean
a large monitor.

Regads,

Rick
