Hi Monique, I've seen one suggestion to go to the sonnettech.com and download the software from them. When you upgraded to the G3, did you press the cuda button before placing the card? Your steps should have been, 1) download and install the software, 2) shut down the machine and take out the original daughter card, 3) press (reset) the cuda button, 4) install the "new" G3 card, 5) start up and enjoy your faster PCI Mac. I upgraded my 7300/200 with an xlr8 MAChspeed G3/300 in this manner and have enjoyed it ever since. If you didn't follow these steps you can go back do it over. One other thing you might need to do is check the L2 cache. I know that with xlr8 cards, the L2 is on the daughter card, so the memory needed to be removed from the L2 bank on the motherboard. I think Sonnet's cards are made the same way. Once you have your G3 card working, you can upgrade to OS X, if you like. I used XPostFacto and L2CacheGrabber, both available at otherwordcomputing, com, from their OS X support site. You don't need to go to a G4 upgrade.
