[non-EDO is the same as FPM -- I think]
There is EDO and FPM, so yes, non-EDO would be FPM. EDO is a bit faster but if your computer RAM controller can not take advantage of the EDO, then it will be treated as FPM. The one exception the I can think of is the 7200. FPM only, as EDO may damage the logicboard.
