Sounds like yer Apple menu groweth. Using it as a launch menu?


Take a look at AliasMenu and BeHierarchic and Default Folder.  The
three extensions work together, to give you a beautifully enhanced
Apple menu, PLUS other versatile launch menus, and better Favorites
management.

I also like Dialog View.  It fixes many of the problems with the puny
open-file dialogs.

And if you'd like to try a dock/launcher type gizmo that's much more
versatile than the standard torn-off Apple application menu... take a
look at The Tilery.
