Last summer, at a garage sale, the sign said $5/bag. I said, do you have a 
bag that will fit that PowerMac 9500? They did. With the caveat that the hard 
disk was crashed, I wobbled home on my bike, steering with one hand and 
balancing the Mac with the other. A year later, after several attempts to find the 
problem (replacing HDD was the first) I have still not been able to boot up this 
machine. However, the day after Christmas, I scored a PM 6500/250 at the 
thrift store for $8 and was able to resurrect it in a few hours with the usual bag 
of tricks. My question now is whether I can install the Apple Mach64 video 
card from the 9500 into the 6500 without a conflict. First impulse is to just try 
it and if it works, it works. But experience tells me that first impulses 
aren't always the best. The thing that makes me cautious is that I read the 6500 
comes with a similar chip (ATI) onboard.
