Write down your Internet setup information, then toss the Internet 
Preferences file.   When these types of problems occur, most of the 
time it is a problem with the Preferences file.   Among other things, 
Internet Exploder writes to the file every time it quits.  I always 
keep a copy of the file, just because IE seems to blow it up once a 
month.
