Hi just been offered a 6400.
Specs unknown at present.
Need a few answers though because I am assuming it is the base config.
Can I upgrade the vram or is it a pci card job.?
No but you can get 16 bit video at 800x600 and 8 bit at up to 1024x768.
Does memory from a 7200/90 work in the 6400.?
Yes, up to 64Mb DIMMs x 2.
Can I add ethernet any other way than pci as I want to put a usb card in there also.?
There are two PCI slots so you could add both. Ethernet can also be added via the Comm Slot II slot. This would require removing any internal modem though.
Is there an internal scsi connector so I can use the drives from my 7200/90 in it.?
