If the PC has to put it's own 2 cents in there may be a way to defeat it but I'm can only guess how. A Mac emulator (dave) might do it. But there should be a way to take the unopened attachment and put it on floppy without the added mucous. Mac used to do this to my Amiga files too.

Look in your mailer settings/prefs/setup

Can the Mac get online any way ? or crossover cat5 ethernet cable to transfer the files direct. I could send the installer file later tonight. cat 5 at circuit city about $6 need CROSSOVER. type . Assume PC has ethernet (don't they all ?
