My sister is running a Laserwriter 4/600PS on her 7500 but it runs a
test page at every start up. How do we stop this? I used to have one
of these but I can't for the life of me remember how to drop the test
page.

Linda

I have the same problem with my LaserWriter Pro 630. Until a few days ago it didn't print test pages, but all of a sudden it began to do so. LaserWriter Utility wouldn't allow me to switch it off again, so I downloaded & installed thew current Apple Printer Utility (which supercedes LaserWriter Utility). I disabled test page BUT IT STILL PRINTS ONE every time I power the printer up. Just another malfunction in the large list of malfs of my 9600...

(Yesterday I tried to trash a print job from the desktop printer icon; though it trashed the job it still printed a while later, and also when I clicked the icon a bunch of items on my desktop opened... and shortly after I closed all of these items... which included applications, control panels, images etc... I clicked the printer icon again and it happened AGAIN!).
