After posing the question "what type of memory do I need for a 7300?" on this list several weeks ago; I ordered some from OWC based on the recomendations. I ordered 3 128M DIMMs.
First, let me say, I had no idea OWC was in Illinois; they sent me an email saying my order had been shipped, and the next morning on my way to work, there was a package at my door from them. I had it shipped Fedex (the cheapest way) and was home from the time I saw the email, til the next morning. It would have been nce if the driver would have at least knocked to let me to look for it. But that's a Fedex gripe, not OWC's. I haven't tried the third stick, but the first two appear to be working flawlessly. I am tickled, to say the least. These DIMMs cost about as much as the ones for my G4, and there is pleny of competition for PC 133 modules. Just thought I'd pass along a "satisfied customer" story, if any of y'all are planning on buying RAM for your PCI Macs soon. The usual fine print applies here: I'm not the owner or a salesman for OWC, have no vested interst in OWC, etc.; basicly I'm not going to make one red cent no matter where you buy your RAM from (unless you want a few 8M DIMMS :) ) J White -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
