About a month ago, I asked if anyone could help me identify a card that
was in my 7300 when I got it. I thought it was a video card, (it had an
ATI chip, and a Mac video jack) and so did Apple System Profiler.

While perusing eBay this morning, I saw this card for sale. It turns out
it's a DOS compatiblitly card. The auction said it came with a cable.
Mine didn't. Anyone know anything about these cards, particularly what
type of cable this thing needs, if it does need one? Do I need any
software to use this card? I'm guessing I'd need at least DOS or Windows,
but what versions of these will run on it? Do I need any extentions? Will
it even work with OS 9.1? I seem to remember a thread on this list
stating that it won't work with anything newer than OS 8, but I may be
thinking of a different card.

I searched Apple's software site and didn't see any driver's for it,
however I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for.

And just to be the first one to say it on this thread, why would I want
to run Windows on a Mac :)

Any help satisfying my curiousity of this gizmo would be greatly
appreciated,

J White
