Hi,

Please excuse me if this question is off-topic a bit. I've grown to appreciate an apparent greater stability and all-around flexibility with Mac OS 9.1 on my PM 7300/200, compared to 8.6, with one exception: Microsoft Excel 5.0 appears to be incompatible with OS 9.1. I was wondering if any other Excel users have experienced this. I'm able to open my music database stored on Excel documents, but unable to modify or save them. The program freezes up, although I am usually able to force-quit it. It's odd to me because I also use Microsoft Word 5.1a, which is actually an earlier version than my Excel 5.0.

Any shared or contrasting experiences, or suggested work-arounds would be greatly appreciated, or even infor on a MS Excel users group I might go to. TIA

Sincerely,

Greenfield Bowie
