Is there an online guide somewhere about newertech processor upgrades, or a way to identify your card? Do you need any software to make it run, or is it a straight swap with the Apple processor? Thanks Tom
You definitely need software for the Newer G3/G4 upgrades for the older pre-G3 Macs. The best place for it is OWC's Tech center <http://eshop.macsales.com/Tech/index.cfm?load=newertech.html> and you can also check some of the Newer archive sites <http://www.mirrors.ausmac.net/ftp/Mirrored-SW/NewerTechnology/www.newertech.com/main/index.html> for more information. I use Newer's software on OS 9.1 and 9.2.2 with my Newer G3 without problems.
