About 1995 my friend who introduced me to Macs had his machine set up in such a way that he could answer the phone from the Mac.
I think he used OS 7 at that time. He passed away long before I could learn how this was done. Is any special software needed. Was this only possible with a global village modem ? I have a Best Data Smart One 56k external that I think supports voice but have never tryed. A plaintalk microphone is in the mail so I'd like to see if this can be done with my setup..
TIA
