I'm looking to by a Radeon 7000 32mb video card for my 7500/G3 350.
Is there anything I should be aware of with this combo, problems,
incompatibility etc... I'd like to run it under OS X.

I have a R7000 Mac Edition on mine at home, I rather like it. Do NOT install the ATI updates if you're running OSX > 10.2.4, as the drivers in 10.2.5 and 6 are newer; you end up with all sorts of problems, curable by re-applying the 10.2.6 combo upgrade.

Any better suggestions for the same price? about $40.
Does it matter if it is the Mac or PC version?

yes, and at $40 it's almost certainly the PC version. If thats the Mac Edition for that price it a huge steal. It can be flashed, but, iirc, you need access to a PC for this.
