Hi Folks,

I just received a 9 gig Seagate SCSI drive (Seagate ST39102LC) from MacresQ. It's an 80 pin drive, and along with it came a 50 to 80 pin adapter. This adapter isn't the generic chunk of plastic that I'm familiar with, this one has jumpers for setting the SCSI ID.

My question is, do I set the ID on the adapter, or do I set it on the drive itself and leave the adapter open? More info on the jumper settings for the drive can be found at the bottom of the page here: <http://www.osemidlands.co.uk/support/insight/insight/en/common/drives/ hard/st39102l.htm>

Thanks in advance,

Chri
