I've just installed a Seagate 9.1 GB Cheetah (10k RPM) in my 9600/350 running 9.2.2. I used an 80 to 50 pin adaptor, and set the jumper (on the drive) to SCSI ID 1 (my hard drive is 0). I initialized the drive using Apple Drive Setup. The problem is, the drive only registers as having 7.9 gigs of space available.
I'm scanning for bad blocks now, but am I missing something obvious?
thanks, -Bill
