I've been seeing The belkin 4 port router going for 1/2 of this recently without any silly rebates.
(check the usual suspects - bestbuy, comp usa, & the sunday circs., etc )
Had mine for over 2 years now and have had ZERO problems with it, sharing, networking, file server, etc...
Have used it with a multiple of computers using OS's 8.6 through 10.2.6
