To let Nortons or CC or even TTPro run in the background is just asking for trouble IMHO.
that is my experience too, filesaver and crashguard and virusprotection from nortons are just killers, i have no experience with techtool pro, but the lightversion seem to only recognize the english version of the OS's, Conflict catcher made shredded debris of the entire startuppartition when installing it, so I wont do that again.
