I have a PowerMac 7500 with a 604e 200MHz CPU in it. I just threw in a PCI
Voodoo 3 3000 16MB video card in it and I am still getting horrible video
performance. If I download AVI or trailers for movies I can't play them at
anything but the lowest resolution. Not only that but the internet is a bit
slower than I would expect for a 200MHz machine. I have a high speed cable
connection ranging from 1.5mb/s to nearly 3mb/s. Is there anyway I can tweak
web settings? Why does my video card display as 16-bit in Apple System
Profiler when I know it's a 32-bit card? Is this a 16 bit system, is the
604e a 16 bit CPU? I have scoured the internet to no avail. Perhaps I am
asking the wrong questions. Here are my exact specs:

PM 7500 @ 200MHz 604e
160MB Physical RAM
36GB 10,000 RPM IBM HD SCSI III (20 mb/s) on an Adaptec 2940UW PCI Card
3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 16MB PCI
8GB 50 Pin SCSI Seagate HD
32x CD-ROM
2MB FD
OS 9.1

Latest QuickTime + newest video drivers for Voodoo 3
The Adaptec card I flashed the ROM to make it Apple compatible. I never get
drive errors or read errors, Norton Disk Doctor scans all my drives fine.
Norton Benchmark gives it a 333 compared using a 6100/60 as a reference
system.

Thank you for any time lent to answering my questions.
