Thanx, I'm download MRJ 1.5.1 now. I'm a little dissappointed to find that
it can only do Java 1.0.2, but that's better than nothing. I hope to get
up to 7.6.1 soon so I can get MRJ 2.4, and of course to have a better OS.
If I remember, Apple's website doesn't have plain 7.6 or 7.6 upgrade on
their site; is there someplace I can get it for free?

No. 7.6 was a paid upgrade. 7.5.5 is the latest Mac OS ever released for free.

That said OS 7.6 disks are reasonably cheap, though I'd personally upgrade to 8.1 and later if I were to do that. Much more stable than 7.5. Get onto the LEM swap list and watch, or ask, OS disks pop up with regularity.
