Which version is it? I'm not at my machine right now, but I'm pretty sure it's 4.7 Did you check the recommended requirements? Yep! But I did read at LowEndMac that OS 8.5 and 8.6 can actually cause problems with the internal modem. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. Of course, I had no idea there would be a conflict. I also heard that in general anything above 8.5 on the Performa 6400 can cause a number of performance issues. If I'd known, I definitely would have left well enough alone!
