The Energy Saver control panel is just that, the control panel. Take it away and it still sleeps according to previous settings.
may I just add that at my place the energy saver control panel doesnt work properly when you use the one installed by 9.1 - it has no boxes to check or uncheck - you have to manually move over the 8.6 energy saver control panel and take away the 9.1 for it to show any functional options.
